Apple

We selected Apple from Black Forest Shires and Gypsy Horses in September of 2006. We liked her because she is at the athletic end of the breed type and we wanted diversity in our mare band. We have fallen in love with her friendly, willing attitude and she is growing more beautiful every day.

At the time we purchased her we were told that she was a sister to Reba, out of the mare Sweep, a Road Sweeper UK daughter. Thank you to the owners and friends of Sweep (One Dot She’s Got) and Reba ( Willow ) for getting in touch with us. Unfortunately DNA comparisons revealed that she has different parentage. Perhaps we can learn more in the UK in the spring.

Apple was bred to The Hustler in ’07 and we look forward to her embryo transfer foal next summer.
