Blue Eyed Mare

The Blue Eyed Mare, who we call BE, is the last mare we purchased. When we visited Clononeen Farms in England , we spotted her and knew we had finally found the right blue eyed horse for us. Her left eye is deep blue in color. Everything else about her is great. As we learned while we were there, she has several of the characteristics gypsy breeders like or consider lucky: a blue eye, a white chin, small ears and one white ear and one black ear.

BE came bred and produced a red and white colt we named Traveler. We later learned that she was bred to a stallion named Diesel, a popular, high stepping, red and white stallion in the UK . We left BE open so we could breed her again in the spring.
