When we purchased The Irish Black Faced Mare, bred to The Hustler for her 2007 foal, every time we showed his photo as her service sire people they said “WOW, who is he?” Our daughter Kate was especially smitten so we contacted Deirdre at Clononeen Farms and decided to go to England to see The Hustler and several other stallions. We were amazed when we met The Hustler to have found a stallion we believe will be a good cross for all of our mares.
The Hustler is a breeders’ dream come true and an excellent example of the breed. He possesses all of the qualities we want in our foals:
· a powerful, Draft Horse build
· substantial, Draft Horse hooves
· a “sweet” head
· small ears
· a well placed “rainbow” neck
· a muscular, short coupled body
· an “apple” shaped rump.
· an ample double mane and full tail
· heavily feathered feet and legs
· a friendly, easy-going temperament
To top it all off, he is more black than white, our personal preference. Did you notice the white wishbone marking on his shoulder? We think he is lucky and so are we to have been able to acquire him.
Now, with his first crop of foals on the ground, he has proven that he can add his presence, wonderful breed type and a bit more black to his offspring. We are thrilled!

The Hustler is standing at stud to mares of his breed. He will be made available to cover a few outside mares in North America each season. We will have the ability to provide cooled or frozen semen. Frozen semen is being collected for international shipping including Australia and New Zealand . Breedings will be limited in all locations.
The Hustler’s booking fee is $1000. His breeding fee is $4000 US.
If you would like The Hustler as an ingredient in your breeding program, please contact us for a breeding contract. The Hustler’s offspring will also be available from us and through our Design-A-Foal program and, from time to time, a mare bred to him will be made available.
