Miss Downs was bred by the iconic gypsy breeder Tom Price, out of The Midget Mare and by the Old Horse of Wales.  She could not have more classic foundation Vanner bloodlines.  She was imported by Dennis Thompson.  After spending several years in Florida she was pastured near San Antonio Texas when we went to see her.  Although their foal would be closely line bred to The Old Horse, we decided that she was perfect for our Teddy.  Now in the cool Colorado climate Miss Downs seems happy, relaxed and her mustache is growing back.  Her first foal with Teddy is a dynamite, piebald filly, SSFR Miss Special Edition.   We will breed her the same way again this year.   6/14
