This mare is the dam of our silver palomino filly, Mandarin Silver Dancer.   Sera as we call her was sired by none other than the Mull of Kinyire, aka Romeo, and she is out of our favorite of Tony’s mares, Batak.   When he called to see if we wanted her we said we would be right there to pick her up.  I love blagdons and solids and even though we would end up with another mother and daughter we were excited to have her.   I really got to know Sera on my multiple nighttime trips to the barn as we waited for her first foal for us to arrive.  She is perhaps the most feminine, composed, loving, trusting horse we have ever had.   She pulls at my heart strings every time I look at her.   We had put her in foal to to Dealer and she delivered a refined black filly SSFR Deal Me In.  She went back to Whiskey, Sahlem’s Countly Maker’s Mark, for her 2015 foal, SSFR Bourbon N’ Cream, Bourbon.  In 2017 she delivered the best colt ever with Guess Who,  SSFR Guess Who’s A Game Changer.  Thank you again Tony for this STUNNING mare!   She is bred back the same way for 2018.  8/17
